The National Board of Accountants and Auditors Tanzania (NBAA) is an independent regulatory and membership body established in 1972 by the Auditors and Accountants (Registration) Act, CAP 286. NBAA operates under the Ministry of Finance and Planning. This year 2022, NBAA celebrates 50 years since its establishment.

NBAA has decided to carry out various activities for its stakeholders as part of the 50^th anniversary celebrations. The celebration activities started in August 2022 and will mark its end on November 30th, 2022 at APC Hotel and Conference Centre Bunju Dar Es Salaam. You are warmly welcome.

From 10^th to 12^th November 2022, NBAA has decided to hold ‘Accountancy Clinic’ at Mnazi Mmoja Grounds to educate businessmen and the general public on financial reports, taxation issues, and help them in various fields related to accounting and auditing. At that 'clinic', NBAA will join with its various stakeholders such as Accounting and Auditing Firms, Tuition Providers, Higher Learning Institutions, Tanzania Revenue Authority, Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority, Banks etc. in providing various services free of charge.

10^th November 2022 is the International Accounting Day, so as part of the 50th anniversary, NBAA in collaboration with the Association of Women Accountants, the Association of Accountants and the Institute of Internal Audit have prepared a dinner that will be held at the Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam. The dinner will cost Tshs. 100,000/= for each participant which will be paid through Account No. 0150206202100 CRDB Bank.

On 12^th November 2022 there will be a charity walk that will start at Mnazi Mmoja grounds at 06:00am. The aim of this walk is to donate books for teaching accountancy subjects to public secondary schools. The official guest at the event will be Hon. Minister of Education and Training. Along with that, there will also be football and netball competitions, quizzes, that will be aired on various Radio and TV stations and the winners will receive various prizes.
