The National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) wishes to inform all reporting entities in Tanzania that the deadline for submission of audited financial statements for participation in the Best Presented Financial Statements Awards for the Year 2024 has been extended to Friday, 7th November 2025 at 16:00 hours.

The Awards aim to recognize, encourage and promote excellence in the preparation and presentation of financial statements in accordance with Local and International Accounting and Auditing Standards.

Entities eligible to participate include:

• Banks and Financial Institutions
• Insurance Companies and Pension Funds
• Manufacturing, Trading and Distribution Entities
• Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies
• Regulatory Authorities and Regional Secretariats
• Telecommunication and Media Companies
• Local Government Authorities
• Service Industries (including Utility and Educational Institutions)
• Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
• Small and Medium Entities (SMEs)

Interested entities are required to submit four (4) hard copies of their latest audited financial statements for evaluation.
