Call for Papers: Accountants’ Annual Conference 2025

THEME: “Shaping the Future of the Accountancy Profession: Trends and Insights”

The National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) is pleased to ‘call for papers’ for the Accountants’ Annual Conference 2025. The Conference will bring together Accountants, Auditors, Chief Executive Officers, Directors, Leaders, Academicians and other stakeholders to discuss emerging trends, share insights, and shape the future of the Accountancy Profession.

We invite the submission of abstract of papers on relevant topics aligned with the main theme. A list of sub-themes and topics has been prepared to guide potential facilitators. The facilitators are encouraged to select a topic under a sub-theme that they are confident in preparing and presenting. Abstracts should clearly demonstrate how the proposed paper contributes to shaping the future of the accountancy profession by addressing relevant trends, insights, challenges, and opportunities."

Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstract: Each submission should include a clear abstract of 300-500 words outlining the proposed topic and its relevance to the theme and sub-themes; to be submitted by 17th October 2025
  • Full Paper: Upon selection, resource persons will be requested to submit full papers by 14th November 2025
  • Format: Papers must be original and not previously published. All submissions should be in ‘word format’ and emailed to info@nbaa.go.tz and copied to winnington.makaka@nbaa.go.tz & bertha.kipangula@nbaa.go.tz
