Outstanding Annual Subscription Fees

By-law 19(2) of the Accountants and Auditors (Registration) By-Laws, 2017 states that, “A person who fails to pay the prescribed subscription fee for three consecutive years from the date the fee is due shall, in addition to the payment of the fees due, be deregistered by the Board”.

This letter serves as notice to inform you that, you have not paid your annual subscription fees as required by the Board. We presume that it must be some circumstances beyond your control that is withholding payment of the subscription fees. The outstanding annual subscription fee that you see in your MEMS account includes also respective penalties for the entire period that you have failed to pay the fees. The annual subscription fee defaulters list which is available in the NBAA website contains, Attachment A (GAs), Attachment B (ACPA & ACPA-PP), Attachment C (FCPA & FCPA-PP), Attachment D (Temporary Members) and Attachment E (Approved Accountants and Accounting Technicians).

If you are in the list of the mentioned attachments, you are now given 30 days from the date of this letter to settle your outstanding annual subscription fee which is already posted in your account in the Membership and Examination Management System (MEMS). Please check your outstanding balance, generate control number and pay for it

Take note that, if your outstanding fee remains unpaid after expiry of 30 days from the date of this letter, the Board will commence deregistration process by issuing public notice of intention to deregister you. This will include publishing all names of defaulters in the NBAA website (www.nbaa.go.tz).

To verify your names, go through the list of members that have not paid their annual subscription fees in the NBAA website. This letter has been sent through your registered email address in your MEMS Account.

Please pay your outstanding fee to avoid deregistration or other inconveniences.
